National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Kenosha County Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to NAMI of Kenosha County in Kenosha, WI. The grant request was submitted by Kelly Golien, AWG Great Lakes Division Support Center employee.

 

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Kenosha County is a non-profit, and an all-volunteer organization working to improve the quality of life through education, support, and advocacy. They promote recovery and fight stigma associated with mental illness. NAMI Kenosha County is dedicated to improving the quality of lives for those whose lives are affected by mental illness. NAMI Kenosha offers an array of free services including self-help and support groups, educational classes, workshops, trainings, community presentations and advocacy. Mental Health illnesses are on the rise, and this organization provides the folks in the community with the resources to treat and overcome their struggles.
