POS Analytics for AWG Vendors

Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) recently introduced POS Analytics in collaboration with SymphonyAI. This cloud-based portal gives vendors direct access to point-of-sale data from participating AWG members.

The platform lets vendors query transaction-level sales data through a secure, internet-based interface. With nine flexible, pre-built reports, users can organize data around their business needs and turn raw transactions into actionable insights on sales performance, shopper behavior, and category opportunities.
By combining member POS data, AWG product and store hierarchies, and external market benchmarks, POS Analytics standardizes metrics and reporting so AWG teams and brand partners can work from the same trusted insights. This shared view helps users identify opportunities faster and drive mutual growth across the cooperative.

The nine reports are organized into two groups: Sales, which includes scorecards, trend reports, and growth drivers; and Category Management, which focuses on assortment insights such as co-purchasing, segmentation, and cross-promotional opportunities.
Data can be retrieved or summarized by UPC, store, day, and comparable time periods.
