Global FC Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Global FC in Belton, MO. The grant request was submitted by Sean Kosednar, AWG Support Center employee.

Global FC uses soccer as a vehicle for transformative impact. Sean is a coach for the organization and recommended them for a grant because of the great work in helping refugee children acclimate to America through soccer. In addition, the sport of soccer is a tool to promote healing and to provide these children a sense of normalcy.
