Olathe, Kan.
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to the Starfish Project Foundation in Olathe, KS. The grant request was submitted by Katy Winget, an AWG Support Center teammate.
The Starfish Project Foundation’s mission is to provide a safe central point where people can come together to inspire, empower, and serve their community. The organization rescues surplus food, clothing, and household goods from commercial waste streams and redirects them to people in need, preventing millions of dollars of usable resources from going to local landfills.
