FosterAdopt Connect Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to FosterAdopt Connect in Springfield, MO. The grant request was submitted by Laura Hall, AWG Springfield Division employee.

FosterAdopt Connect’s mission is to provide foster and adoptive children a stable, loving, and nurturing family environment by supporting and advocating for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. One of the many programs offered is Sammy’s Window, which provides a wide variety of free items to lift the tangible burden of caring for youth who are in foster care or have been adopted. With the ongoing help of community donations, FosterAdopt Connect stocks items for all stages of child development. Some examples are: diapers, formula, dry goods, new or gently used clean clothing and shoes, new socks and underwear, and hygiene products.
