Volunteers in Medicine Christian County Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares awarded a grant request in the amount of $2,500 to Volunteers in Medicine Christian County (VIMCC) in Nixa, MO. The grant request was submitted by Richard Pratt, AWG Springfield Division employee.

 

The mission of VIMCC is to provide high quality healthcare to uninsured, underserved, and homeless residents in Christian County who are 16-64 years of age and live at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level. VIMCC promotes, guides, and helps to sustain a national network of free clinics emphasizing the use of retired medical and community volunteers within a culture of caring to improve access to healthcare for the underserved and uninsured.
