Norfolk, NE
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to the Norfolk Rescue Mission in Norfolk, NE. The grant request was submitted by Stephanie Vogt, AWG Nebraska Division employee.
The Norfolk Rescue Mission’s mission is to serve the hurting and homeless of Northeast Nebraska. The organization operates solely on donations and on an average day, they feed up to 100 people.
Not only do they offer housing and meals to the homeless and others in need, they offer fellowship and give people a family when they need it most. For those unable to find employment while staying at the mission, there are responsibilities within the organization and volunteer opportunities to help with stability as they try to refocus their lives.
