KU Cancer Center Drug Discovery Innovation Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to KU Cancer Center Drug Discovery Innovation in Lawrence, KS. The grant request was submitted by Cameron Harvey, AWG Support Center employee.

It takes a community to prevent, treat and cure cancer. The University of Kansas Cancer Center’s researchers, doctors, nurses and staff strive every day to reduce cancer’s toll on patients, their caregivers and their family and friends. Their goal is to provide world-class care and research right here in Kansas City. Therefore, they invest in experimental drug research, prevention, and treatment for the community.
