Prairie Village, KS
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to I Have A Name (I.H.A.N.) Street Ministry, in conjunction with the Nall Avenue Church of the Nazarene in Prairie Village, KS. The grant request was submitted by Heather Standifer, AWG Support Center employee.
The mission of I.H.A.N is to bring hope, dignity, purpose, and a NAME to the homeless. They believe by doing these simple things, they can make a difference and when a person finds their purpose, they will change on their own. I.H.A.N offers meals, clothing, and other resources to the street communities across Kansas City.
