American Heart Association Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to American Heart Association in Mission, KS. The grant request was submitted by Melanie Isenmann, AWG Corporate employee, and Tim Malisos, AWG Kansas City Division employee.

The American Heart Association funds cardiovascular medical research, educates consumers on healthy living and fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Melanie’s mother, Sherri Rambo, had a heart transplant in June 2023 and Melanie made a grant request in her honor. Tim recently lost his father, Raymond Joseph Malisos, Jr., to a heart attack and made a grant request in his memory.
