Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to the Parkinson’s Exercise and Wellness Center in Overland Park, KS. The grant request was submitted by Dave Sutton, VMC Corporate employee.
The Parkinson’s Exercise and Wellness Center is a partner in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This disease affects all aspects of physical, mental and emotional life. The PEWC is one of the first facilities of its kind in the Kansas City area and is dedicated to fighting Parkinson ’s disease through targeted exercise programs. The PEWC team is uniquely qualified to train those living with Parkinson’s and their programs are ever growing.
