Norfolk, NE
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to The Connection Project in Norfolk, NE. The grant request was submitted by Stephanie Vogt, AWG Nebraska Division employee.
The Connection Project provides support to the substance use and mental health recovery community in northeast Nebraska. Over 3,000 people visited The Connection Project last year. They are the only peer-led mental health and substance use recovery organization in Norfolk. Their mission is to walk with people on a journey towards recovery and wellness by building mutual relationships based on peer support principles.
