Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant award in the amount of $3,000 to St. Tammany Project Christmas in Slidell, LA. The grant request was submitted by George Wellen, AWG Gulf Coast Division Support Center teammate.
St Tammany Project Christmas targets feeding the homeless and hungry in St. Tammany Parish. Committed to providing a memorable Christmas with gifts & food for a family and dinner to families in need. Last year, 700+ families were fed and gifts were provided to 1800+ angels. There were also 75+ bicycles a few days before all the gifts and food boxes were picked up by the mothers and fathers.
