Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Missouri/Kansas City Southeast Chapter in Blue Springs, MO.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to building and delivering hand-made, fully furnished beds to children in need. “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town” is their motto and their mission is to tackle childhood bedlessness, which is estimated to affect nearly 3% of the population.
