Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to the Red Cross Southeast Louisiana in New Orleans, LA. The grant request was submitted by Jennifer Rabalais, AWG Gulf Coast Division employee.
Every day, the American Red Cross assists people who face disasters. They secure food and lodging for those whose home has been struck by fire, supplies for the people affected by flooding, and help with cleanup after natural disasters like tornadoes and hurricanes. Our Gulf Coast region is very familiar with the help the Red Cross offers after such terrible events and how important their work is for hurricane preparations.
