Wayne, NE
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to Providence Medical Center (PMC) Foundation in Wayne, NE. The grant request was submitted by Cynthia Puntney, AWG Nebraska Division employee.
The PMC Foundation has helped sponsor Pink Flamingo Nite at Our Savior Lutheran Church (OSLC), Wayne, NE, for the past several years. All proceeds from the event each year are donated to PMC’s Oncology Department to use at their discretion. This year, along with the AWG Cares Grant, a $5,000 check was presented to the Foundation from OSLC from this year’s event.
This year’s donation will be used to help purchase updated equipment for the two infusion rooms in the Oncology Department in PMC’s Outpatient Services area – including computers on wheels and TVs.
