Norfolk Public School Foundation’s Panther Packs Program Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Norfolk Public School Foundation’s (NPSF) Panther Packs Program in Norfolk, NE. The grant request was submitted by Jennifer Lewis, AWG Nebraska Division Support Center employee.

The mission of the Norfolk Public Schools Foundation is to enhance and encourage learning opportunities for Norfolk Public School students. NPSF funds Panther Packs for students who may not have enough food at home over the weekend. The food is discreetly packed in the students backpack on Fridays for them to use while they are not at school to receive school breakfasts and lunches. The AWG Cares grant funds will be used to purchase food for the Panther Packs.
