Mission Southside Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Mission Southside in Olathe, KS. The grant request was submitted by Kim Cates, AWG Kansas City Division employee.

Mission Southside partners with churches, helps organizations, businesses, and individuals to bring hope to Johnson County, KS through the meeting of both physical and spiritual needs. They provide 350 “back snacks” (equivalent of 6 meals – plus fresh fruit) to low income kids in the 16 section 8/42 neighborhoods they serve through the local middle and high schools.
