Mimi’s Pantry Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Mimi’s Pantry in Riverside, MO. The grant request was submitted by Emily Detwiler, AWG Support Center employee.

Mimi’s Pantry is a state-of-the-art food pantry that supports families and individuals, who are faced with the challenge of not having enough nourishing food available to them. Therefore, they offer a full range of food items needed to provide a nourishing, balanced meal. Mimi’s Pantry is stocked with boxed and canned goods, along with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and frozen meats. What makes Mimi’s Pantry unique is their library full of books, which is available for their clients to take home. They recognize that oftentimes there isn’t enough money left in the budget to buy books for family members.
