Milwaukee, WI
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Milwaukee Rescue Mission in Milwaukee, WI. The grant request was submitted by John Davis AWG Great Lakes Division Support Center employee.
Sharing God’s love by caring for those who are poor in body, mind and spirit, to see lives transformed through Christ to hope, joy and lasting productivity. Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process, sometimes a long one. But it has to start somewhere. Hope starts with a meal. Through nutritious meals, safe shelter and clean clothing, Milwaukee Rescue Mission meets the basic needs of their struggling neighbors—and they support them as they begin the process of healing and restoration through their recovery and education programs. Providing roughly 800 meals per day (and providing over 293,000 meals, 61,000 nights of shelter and 52,000 articles of clothing each year), Milwaukee Rescue Mission offers help in the present to give hope for the future. John used to volunteer weekly but recently has been doing monetary donations to help with operations.
Thank you, John, for donating to AWG Cares and submitting this grant request!
