Norfolk, NE
Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to Mercy Meals in Norfolk, NE. The grant request was submitted by Verlene Synovec, AWG Nebraska Division Support Center employee.
The mission of Mercy Meals is to help fight world hunger and help to reverse the effects of malnutrition globally. The grant will be used to help Mercy Meals purchase nourishing food that will be packaged by volunteers and delivered by Orphan Grain Train to children in need throughout the world. Orphanages, refugee camps, feeding centers, disaster relief centers and local food pantries have been recent recipients of their food.
