Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The grant request was submitted by Dee Church, AWG Memphis Division employee.

JDRF’s mission statement is to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life changing break throughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. Dee’s son was diagnosed with T1D when he was 9 years old and she got involved with JDRF shortly after. He passed away at 22 and she continues to be an advocate for them.
