Huntington’s Disease Society of America Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant award in the amount of $3,000 to Huntington’s Disease Society of America in Kansas City, KS. The grant request was submitted by Tim Malisos, AWG Kansas City Division Support Center employee.

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s mission is to improve the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease through community support, education, advocacy, and research. In a spirit of hope and compassion, HDSA works to connect families with resources and care programs while funding scientific breakthroughs for a cure. They also help by supporting individuals and caregivers with access to support groups, genetic testing guidance, and specialized clinics across the country.
