Heartland Helpers Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to Heartland Helpers in Kansas City, KS. The grant request was submitted by Michael Naylor, AWG Kansas City employee.

Heartland Helpers’ goal is to provide assistance and resources for individuals with special needs, their families and professionals in the Midwest. Michael Naylor volunteers with the organization doing fundraisers throughout the year. This organization is run 100% with volunteers, so all of the funds raised go to the communities they are active in. Programs include children outreach, summer programs, lunch/meal initiatives, just to name a few.
