Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $1,000 to Furbaby Rescue Midwest in Norfolk, NE. The grant request was submitted by Stephanie Vogt, AWG Nebraska Division employee.

Furbaby Rescue is located in Norfolk, NE, and is a 100% volunteer organization that relies solely on donations to operate. There is no payroll. They do what they do all for the love of animals. Furbaby Rescue was founded when one woman decided there was a significant need for dumped, sick, injured and lost animals in the area. The overpopulation of homeless animals needed help, vetting, food, care and love. Furbaby Rescue excels in search and rescue of abandoned animals. They locate them, safely catch them, give them total vet care, get them healthy, train them, and find them forever homes. They carefully screen all potential adopters, do home visits and meet and greets with qualified applicants. They also offer microchipping for a fee, which includes a lifetime enrollment. They have a large facility that is solely for the care and comfort of their rescues and includes a nice sized reception office where potential families can spend time with the rescues prior to adoption.

Thank you, Stephanie, for donating to AWG Cares and submitting this grant request!
