Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant in the amount of $3,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Oklahoma City, OK. The grant request was submitted by Jim Hledik, AWG Oklahoma City Division Support Center employee.

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead a long and fulfilling life by funding research and drug development, partnering with the cystic fibrosis community, and advancing high quality, specialized care. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Oklahoma has raised a great deal of money for research to extend the life expectancy of those living with this disease. New drugs and treatments are doing just that and AWG Cares is helping contribute to this life-saving research with this grant.
