Cross-Lines Community Outreach Receives Donation from AWG

The AWG Kansas City Division and corporate employees, in partnership with AWG Cares, helped raise money for Cross-Lines Community Outreach Inc. in Kansas City, KS. They donated approximately $2,500, which was collected during a 2022 Holiday Open House.

Cross-Lines raises awareness and helps people affected by poverty through extensive programs and services. AWG’s donation will help support their hunger relief services, especially their Community Market. The Community Market is a deliberate shift away from a traditional food pantry to a more inclusive, respectful program where clients are shoppers empowered to choose the items they need most. Shoppers can come once a month and use points that are based on their household size. The points allow shoppers to get enough food for approximately 10 meals.
