Cornerstones of Care Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant award in the amount of $3,000 to Cornerstones of Care in Kansas City, MO. The grant request was submitted by Kelly Hasenhor, AWG Kansas City Division Support Center employee.

Cornerstones of Care believes that children thrive within families, and families flourish within caring communities. Their dedicated team collaborates with countless children and families, empowering them with comprehensive prevention, treatment, and support services. Through this collective effort, Cornerstones of Care fosters healing and cultivates resilience, paving the way for a brighter future.

Our IMD teammates teamed up with Build Trybe to prepare for their annual plant sale fundraiser, supporting youth—especially those aging out of foster care—in gaining skilled trade experience. From mowing and mulching to harvesting green onions, every task helps empower participants through hands-on learning in sustainable agriculture and culinary arts.
