Beacon Food Pantry Receives AWG Cares Award Grant

Recently, AWG Cares provided a grant request in the amount of $3,000 to Beacon Food Pantry in Fort Scott, KS. The grant request was submitted by Brandy Leslie, VMC Fort Scott employee.

The Beacon Food Pantry provides food services and financial assistance which could include assistance with prescriptions, travel to work or to a medical facility, rent, utilities and much more. This is one of very few places that offer this wide range of assistance to individuals and families during difficult times. They also help with back-to-school supplies for children.
